Shakespeare Week Spring 2015

During Shakespeare Week all of children were learning about William Shakespeare and we all watched a fabulous production of Hamlet by Our Lady’s Primary School Prescot.images-1

Visiting author Andy Tooze

Andy made everybody laugh with his silly poems. The children were all able to write their own poem by the end of the day. They shared their poems together.


Kirkby Spring Art Week

We were delighted when other Kirkby Schools joined in the Kirkby Spring Art Competition. We exhibited  the work in Kirkby library whilst Ruth Moilliet the sculptor had an exhibition on display.

Dance across the years

Rivers and Tango Year 6 worked with our Governor B Tolmie when they were learning about rivers- they developed their own rain Forrest dance as well as learning how to tango.


Year 1 were learning how to skip and move as they prepared for their Wizard of Oz Production.


Nursery children were learning how to dance to their favourite music. NurPE

Year 3 and 4 children love to dance after school. IMG_0153[1]
