Welcome to the Summer term 2. We hope you had a safe and happy Whit holidays.
It is still a strange and challenging time, hopefully you can enjoy some of these learning ideas with your child.
This week, we will be reading The Gruffalo. I really enjoy this story, I hope you do too.
The Whit holidays start next week! It has been a very strange and different few weeks. We are missing you coming to nursery and having fun. We can’t wait to play with you all again but till then we must keep safe.
Here are some ideas for home learning during the Whit holidays
Draw a picture for a friend or family member that you are really missing and send it to them, we would love to see them om Twitter too.
Play shop and buy things using 1ps. Items up to 10/20p
Read a story
Make a den
Help your grown ups around the house, tidy your toys up.
Make a poster showing all the positive things you have done during lockdown.
Can you remember Spanish numbers to 10?

This week we will be role playing the story, drawing our favourite snack and talking about a trip we have been on.
In Maths we will be counting backwards to blast a rocket off and researching shapes.

Welcome to Spring term 1, we have had a very busy start to the new year.
This half term we will be learning about Dinosaurs and our Religious Education topics Celebrating and Gathering. We have enjoyed being paleontologists in our nursery and have been digging for fossils and bones.
We enjoyed a visit from Knowsley Safari Park, who read a fantastic story about the bush dogs who live in the rain forest. We now know how to help save the rain forest.

If someone new is collecting a child please inform nursery staff.
